Dive Report - Ocean City - April 3

Good day diving off Ocean City, MD but thick fog the whole way out. Seas were 3 ft / 8 seconds. 46 on the surface / 42 on the bottom. Average viz 20-25 ft. There were a bunch of Harbor seals in the bay near the inlet.. first time I've ever seen seals in OC. Overall not a bad day, hoping for better vis tomorrow (and less fog)

Spear OC 2010 - Spearfishing Tournament - Ocean City, MD

The FIRST annual Spear OC - Spearfishing Tournament in Ocean City, MD. This years winner will win a Brand New A.B. Biller Floridian Speargun ($300.00 Value)!

REGISTRATION IS FREE, ANYONE CAN REGISTER AND COMPETE ON ANY BOAT!

Competition Days are Aug 21st, 28th and Sept 4th 2010. Weights and Measurements will be between 7pm-9pm on Competition Days at White Marlin Marina.

This years target fish is the Tautog (Blackfish). The biggest fish of each Competition Day will be entered into the finals and will receive a 2010 Finals Trophy and after all three Competition Days have passed whoever has the biggest fish of the three final competitors wins the tournament, the prize and a Fish of The Year Trophy!

Registration will open May 1st, all competitors must be registered by August 1st to compete.
